Kate Bergeron

Kate Bergeron is a Vice President, Hardware Engineering at Apple, Inc. She started working at Apple in 2002 in the mobile manufacturing and designing wing. She was also a part of the Mac design team.

Kate has almost 20 years of industry experience in high volume consumer electronics and manufacturing domestically and abroad. Her extensive experience in the commercial world and bringing products to market brings an industry viewpoint to D-Lab.

Presently, Kate heads the manufacturing of many products and also is a lecturer in MIT’s D-Lab which deals with drafting technologies to help the poverty-stricken population. She has an SB from MIT, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
