Dr. Lisa T. Su is the AMD president and Chief Executive Officer. She has held this position since October 2014 and serves on the AMD Board of Directors.
Prior to AMD, Dr. Su served as a Senior VP, Networking and Multimedia at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. There she was responsible for global strategy, marketing, and engineering for embedded communications. Dr. Su also spent 13 years at IBM in various engineering and business leadership positions.
Dr. Lisa Su has been ranked #2 on Fortune's “Business Person of the Year” list for the year 2020. She also received the Grace Hopper Technical Leadership Abie Award and was honored by the Semiconductor Industry Association with its highest honor, the Robert N. Noyce Award.
