Prachi Gupta

Prachi Gupta is a Head of Engineering at Discord, where she is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of a highly scalable and distributed technology stack that powers millions of conversations.

Prior to Discord, Prachi served as a Director of Engineering at LinkedIn, where she led the R&D teams for the feed, sharing, and homepage teams. Throughout her 10-year career at LinkedIn, she held many leadership roles in engineering. Prachi also worked at Garmin International, where she developed a web-based collaboration platform, Garmin Connect, for storing and analyzing fitness data captured by fitness devices.

She is an active supporter of diversity in STEM, co-founded LinkedIn’s Women in Technology Initiative. Prachi is also an alumnus board member of Women’s Audio Mission. She was named one of the most powerful female engineers by Business Insider in 2018.
